Hmm but yes. Monday morning I headed back up to Melbourne [after a few adventures] on the same train as James. But the silly person had a class to go to... so I stole his house key and went and did some shopping. Probably shouldn't have spent the money on myself [though I now own the coolest monster bag you've ever seen] but I had presents to buy too. Money is very much annoying at the moment, or perhaps lack thereof. Kind of anyway, I have enough money, but due to a lump sum - I'm earning next to nothing.
But yes, shopping was nice. And then I arrived back at James' only a little while before he did. Movies were watched, Horton Hears a Who is enjoyable. And there was Deja Vu. Or was that last night...? I have absolutely no idea... it involved popcorn though. And chocolate. I'm pretty sure it was Deja Vu... good movie that. We were going to go see taken but it fell through due to lack of people. So that means I watched something else LAST night. Oh god, I don't remember. James...?
Dinner was nice on Monday though... I had a spud from the spud bar. Hurrah!
And then I had uni yesterday... with my usual huge gap. James dropped around with moccona jars for me.. and as I was done homework for the night that's how I ended up at his place. It's really bugging me what movies we watched... He has 250 or so I think. We did add it up.
And today I had work. And James remembered how I smelled when we were at the prom last year. I'm very much impressed. Work was unimpressive though... and for the next three weeks I have the same stupid shift. Oh, and my eyes are bloodshot. Not entirely sure why but I'm going to put on new contact lenses tomorrow. Also, Dexter hates me. I am very much grumpy about that... and I had too much homework to do tonight to go to the impromptu party... oh well. I expect there'll be more of those :)

Just a quick post whilst I wait for my washing... I would very much like to be curled up asleep [preferably not by myself] due to much exhaustion on my part. But I really would rather not leave my washing for someone else. The aforementioned exhaustion is due to very little sleep the last three nights. I really have no excuse for friday night but on saturday I went from work [at about 10:20 pm] to longwarry, to home [arrived a bit before 4] and then returned to the book I was dying to read. A bad idea, I stopped when I started to notice birds chirruping. And last night I just didn't go to bed as early as I really should have...
But anyway, all homework was completed on time and Nina was visited. I very much enjoyed seeing her again, oh and her cat is adorable. I wish I could steal it. I saw her again at flinders last night too, turns out we were on the same train.
It was nice visiting Nic too, I brought muchly nice things from breadtop to share. That bakery is a place of awesome, every town/suburb should have one. In an ideal world anyway. 'tis all I had for dinner... I was perhaps a little overzealous in irritating James whilst he played the wii with Nic and Jay because he assumed I was bored and we went off back to his. But oh well.
Friday I sat with Megan for both classes [yay for the studios mixing :) ] and she gave me Breaking Dawn, that would be the book I was dying to read. We have to design packaging for those new lightbulbs for graphic design. The catch is it must be made with only one sheet of card/paper, as little glue as possible and no actually imagery. Just pretty boxes. We're allowed to emboss or cut images into it though. I pretty much fail at 3D but it was a fun class none-the-less. Megan made me a sailor hat. It's sticking on one of my walls. It has a feather I made in it too. It was too windy to continue wearing it during our break though.
And in typography she ran away early... was a rather boring class. I have epic amounts of work to do for the upcoming assignment. two assignments actually, though one's smaller than the other and homework only.
That night I ran away home with Mum and Dad after watching Nat. Saturday morning was full of errands and Sunday morning - or afternoon more truthfully - was full of helping Mum package sugar almonds for a wedding next weekend. Terribly exciting, I know.
Wishing you all much fun and sailor hats.
Bubbye.

Back up in Melbourne for Uni again, yay! That was only a very little bit sarcastic, I swear. I do enjoy the work I have, there's just a lot of it. But obviously I'm feeling optimistic, else I wouldn't be typing this. I'm a little bit frustrated by one delay... but I may even get my homework done with enough spare time to go visit Nina. I hope so anyway. At the very least I'll be staying at James' tomorrow night. I just have an essay and the very last of my poster to do. Hurrah!
My life this week hasn't been terribly thrilling, enjoyable though. Mostly. Caught the train up with Nic on Sunday, the silly thing changed to a coach at Dandenong... but it didn't take too much longer. We had a long delay [okay, so it was only 25 minutes - but it was cold] between trains so we both spent too much at the sugar station. I love raspberries in white chocolate. Anything tastes good smothered in chocolate. Except socks.
Then I went back to Nic's for a little while and James came to join. I was given Baileys [I haven't had the real thing in soooo long. Well, except in the jam donut on Friday night, but it doesn't count] and I actually played the wii. Some of you will know that I'm not a huge fan of wii's, but I did have a shot. You should all be proud. I prefer smash brothers on the nintendo though, at least then I have some idea which buttons I should be mashing. Also, twin eskimos are cute.
I brought Gloomy home with me too. I have the ninth image in pink if you type 'Gloomy the bear' into google images. He's cute, I promise. A little disturbed maybe, but cute. I want the plush version. [12th image, second page]
Then James and I went back to his and watched Young People Fucking. No, it is not porn. It's kinda a mockumentary. Very funny. Unsurprisingly it didn't do well at the box office - the title maybe?
Monday and Tuesday were spent doing homework with odd visits on the part of one Annie. I also had a class Tuesday night in which I sat and talked to Caroline for the first 2 hours before actually being able to do work for the final hour. (><) that class makes me grumpy. Once he tells us how to do things it's ridiculously easy. He just takes an equally ridiculous amount of time to impart that information. I hate baby steps.
Today I went to a contours for a free trial. I enjoyed it, maybe more so that curves, but it's too expensive. And inflexible. I can't do the 12-month plan [which month by month I could afford] due to no transfers being allowed and a ridiculous cancellation fee. And the month by month plan is too much. :( Curves is another 5 minutes drive away though I think. So I shall be finding out their prices. If nothing else I'm feeling more motivated about exercising, definitely a good thing.
I also worked 4 hours, and now I'm home and enjoying a break from the homework I've been doing. I had to render three words that describe my personality so that they show that trait visually. Pity they have to be legible. I chose chatterbox [a box-like 'chatter' in a - you guessed it - box.], scatterbrained [made up of scattered pins] and bubbly. That one is made up of bubbles. Very enthusiastic bubbles though.
And now I might make a start on my unexciting essay/biography thing... bubbye all :)

Another year older, can't say I feel any different. I've had a fairly good couple of days though... after all that grumbling. I still have lots of homework to do [more, in fact] but I'm feeling more enthusiastic about it than I was. Thursday's class was a waste of time but I got to visit Nic afterwards and saw Aimee and Bronwen [and James of course]. It was a nice night, Nic and I cooked/prepared burritos. Well, except the tomato. We made Aimee do that, icky. A good nights sleep was had, well, pretty good anyway considering how early I had to get up. I woke up half an hour earlier than I needed to so I could make James give me my birthday present. I also got a phone call from my family so I could appreciate their beautiful singing voices.
James got me a pretty book. It's called 'I am Plastic' and it's a collection of designer toys. I have 14 different pages bookmarked already... if only I were rich. It is an awesome book and a half though, it's mainly pictures and there's web addresses for them all. My favourite is probably the Uglydoll 'Ox'. They don't sell the vinyl version on their site though, probably a good thing as I would have ordered it by now if they did. I love vinyl, I don't mean in a kinky, bondage related way [or do I?] but just in toys in general. Think swobbles or those Mr Men toys. They are things of awesome. Click here to look at the site anyway, 'tis cool, especially the meet the uglys section. "OX is great at magic, and his best trick is turning your stuff into his stuff." I can't afford him, international shipping is $35 US. sigh, NZ has a supplier, but not Australia... (><)
But yes, Uni was too long for a birthday, though I did leave an hour early. I had cake for lunch and Megan shouted me caffeine. Nyum. And then back to James' in time to get ready for dinner. We went out to Number 8 [appropriate, no?] with my parents. I really enjoyed myself, though we were late meeting everyone else. Everyone else was also late in the first place though, so it works out. Anyway, a wonderful dinner. Kudos and much love to James for suggesting it :)
Mum and Dad bought me some charms for my pandora bracelet, I didn't get the rest of my present til I got home this afternoon [Saturday, not Sunday] and it really is ridiculous. I have never seen so many red things in one place at one time. I have pots, pans, over mitts, tongs, a spatula, sugar/tea etc tins, baking dishes... even a red kettle and toaster. I was going to get the kettle as a housewarming present but they were a pack. A few other small red things too. But really, it's amazing.
Anyway, after dinner James and I met the others at the Trader Bar. By others I mean Annie, Nicole, Aimee, Iggi, Naomi, and Nic. Conversation occured, cocktails were had... Bacardi 151 was tried [it burns!] and after a little while we headed over to The Apartment.
The Apartment is most definitely my kind of place. free entry too. It's full of couches and poofs and little alcoves. Unfortunately it was also very quiet. Apparently, this from the bartender, Friday is its busiest night but everyone must have been watching the silly olympics. (><) it meant we got to have a tab though... which is kinda cool. It also meant they closed earlier and no dancing occurred. :(
But oh well, we went to the Lion's Hotel at Central for a little. I didn't really like it though, the music was too loud and you couldn't hear anyone. James and I stepped outside where we could talk and watched everyone through the window... they looked a little bored so Maccas was excursioned to. We also tried cramming people into a photobooth, I'll scan in the picture tomorrow.
I found chips. not fries. I win.
And then we took our taxis home. We must have left the city at something like 3:15 but I was still wide awake. I'm afraid I kept James awake until about 5 am... my bad. But oh well. I got up at 1 and caught the train home. Half an hour here and then off to work. And then there was cake. I am very much a fan of cake.
The end. :)

Just got back from work and I feel the need to grumble before I start with my ridiculously huge amount of homework. So tune out now if you don't like complaints.
# (hashes are more violent and grumbly than ~ ) The aforementioned ridiculous amount of homework. Most especially the very frustratingly tedious webpage which I'm not even halfway through. Due on Tuesday. Grrrr. I hate it.
# The headache I have that I could really live without if I'm to do this homework.
# The fact that I'm incredibly itchy. I had my haircut this morning and my particular hairdresser seemed to have a particular talent for dodging that thing they put around you to prevent hair getting everywhere. She did cut my hair nicely though.
# My manager. Apparently he doesn't have 'any more hours to spare'. The fact that I've been working 12-16 hours a week there since march [up until he came along] is entirely irrelevant. Also that one full-time girl just left. Now I get 3.
# I want my tax back already... I'm completely failing to save money, even when I try. I still buy the odd small thing but there's heaps of things I need at the moment. Like shoes. I'm not joking there, the two main pairs I wear are falling apart. I should have brought new runners at least a month ago. Food always seems so expensive too...
there's more but I need to work... (><)
the end.
