Saturday I saw where James shall be moving to and caught a train. Followed by work.
Sunday I also worked then headed up to Melbourne for more James involvement.
Monday I worked.
Tuesday I most definitely didn't work due to being picked up from the prior day's work and taken to Traf by James. Yay for home-cooked meals and sleeping in to something like 1:30pm. Accidently. Back up to Melbourne that night where the cooking of pikelets and the making of raspberry and malteser ice-cream cake occurred.
Wednesday James and I visited Melbourne cemetery as an excursion then consumed pikelets and jam on the State Library Lawns - which, amazingly enough, are actually lawns now. I'm sure they were dirt last time I looked. And then we wandered home past many, many clothes stores that I wish I could have spent money in.
Thursday I headed to Clayton to visit my Nana in hospital, she had to have an operation to have a cancer removed. She was taken in earlier than expected and I only got to talk to her for 5 minutes. Mum, my parents were meeting me there, was 5 minutes later and only got to quickly speak as Nana was being wheeled away, Dad missed her entirely. So the afternoon was spent with Mac, Nana's husband, and then at Chadstone where we saw Prince Caspian which I very much enjoyed. Then Mum and Dad headed back to the hospital to wait for the operation to finish and I came back to James'. She'll be in hospital for a few more weeks... and it'll be months before she's fully over it.
Friday? I worked. And now I'm at Normanby, awaiting the hockey game that will bring my parents and brother to Monash. Then I'm going home, to work. as I will also do on Sunday and Monday. Yay fun.
Looking forward to Tuesday though, it's our McMarvel Marathon. And then on Thursday I get to have all my lovely, impacted wisdom teeth removed. I don't even know what impacted means, but apparently it's evil, mean and not very nice. Really looking forward to that.
And so ends my rather short and boring post.

Okay, so it may have been over a week. Again. I'm sorry okay? So that you're not all inflicted with a ridiculously long post I'll attempt to be concise, succinct, to-the-point, brief and otherwise aphoristic and apothegmatic. So I may also have looked those last two up, but it was worth it I think. Apparently they mean 'terse and witty'. Now you've learnt something. Congratulations. Personally I learnt today what watercress tastes like, I believe that it's something we all should experience - its taste is... unexpected, not in a bad way [though I wouldn't recommend putting huge amounts of it in your ever inquisitive mouths] but definitely different. Anyway, get on to that. I, meanwhile, will get on to the point. Or at least I will try to, don't hold me to that.
Last weekend unfortunately didn't involve cake. It did involve me leaving James' at Traf waaaaay too early in the morning [before 9] in order to get to work. It also involved drawing pretty pictures and more work. And deciding to head back up to Melbourne at 6:30 pm or so on Sunday night.
Monday featured a complicated manoeuvre on my part in order to avoid a parking fine. Followed by meeting up with James in the city. We were later joined by Annie and watched 'The Happening'. I'm not entirely sure I should recommend it, it has the same kind of feeling as 'The Village' so if you enjoyed that then go ahead and see it. I did enjoy it too... more gruesome that I expected and more than a little strange.
I also guilted James into coming back to my box. We watched Tarzan and Fox and the Hound. I love Disney.
On Tuesday I was a depressed, teenage mother to 4-month-old Aiden for 5 hours or so [i.e. 30-32 4th year medical students]. Aaaaaargh. Okay, now I've got that off my chest...
It was exhausting, Nicole and I both did it. We memorised information [dad died when I was 10, I smoke 10-20 cigarettes a day, nothing illicit, that bastard Tom took off when he found out I was pregnant, moved out at age 15, plus much, much more!] and then the students played GP and talked to us. No, I do not hear voices, my child does not need to be put into a foster home and I'm perfectly capable of making up formula. Also, I do not have post-natal depression.
On the plus side it paid ridiculously well and there was very yummy food.
I also left my wallet in the car when Nicole and I headed from Monash to Nic's. Alayne had come to visit, yay! Dinner was over an hour late and quite a few meals were funky, [not mine! :) ] and I may have had a little too much to drink. James called me drunk. He lies, I was just rather tipsy. Not a late night anyway. And I fell asleep watching 'Hoodwinked'. I can't even remember James getting up and turning it off.... did I wake up for that James?
Wednesday: Myself, James, Nicole and Alayne had lunch/breakfast at that Degraves street place, later joined by Annie. Annie and Nicole headed off to watch movies and eat corn chips whilst James, Alayne and I went to Game On and spent a very enjoyable afternoon there. No wallet meant no concession though, sigh. And then... we met up for dinner, Nicole excepted, and headed to Crown to watch 'Kung Fu Panda', Annie excepted.
GO SEE IT NOW. Comparable to 'Over the Hedge', prepare to be blinded by awesome-ness.
Then back to my box, thanks to Nicole's dad giving me a lift, and my wallet was recovered. Yay to leaving it in my car parked at Uni for 24 hours in clear view!
And today I left at 7am in order to ring bells each 8 and 2 minutes. Mind-numbingly boring but again, good money and much food. I ate too much... there was nothing else to do but snack. sigh. I also nearly finished an entire book, pretty good considering how often I had to stop.
And to Nana's for dinner. It's really quite lucky I didn't explode with that much food.
So... that is quite possibly incredibly long.
Points to note;
- Eat Watercress
- The Happening is good, albeit strange
- No, I do not hear voices
- Nic's thai soup smelled funky
- Did I wake up when you turned the movie off James?
- Game On is much fun
- Kung Fu Panda is a creation of awesome and liable to blind you with awesome-ness [you'll understand when you watch it]
- Ringing bells [needlessly loud ones] is mind-numbing when done every 8 then 2 minutes for 9 or so hours in one day...
- I've started capitalising the 'I's and the first word in each sentence as of last post. I'm very proud of myself.

Nicole complained that I hadn't posted in awhile [my blogging helps to keep her entertained when she's bored, as your chattering helps me] so I thought I should reappear. It's been over a week, I'm ashamed, really.
All I did last week that is worth noting is that I completed and handed in my last assignment for the semester and headed home on friday with James in tow. We went to Scott's friday night after an adventure to the supermarket with Nat to procure dinner. Yay for nachos and savoys with dip. Oh, and bavarian chocolate cake stuff with cookies and cream ice-cream. We spent too much. But Dad left me $50 for food and the like... it was their anniversary and they'd gone away for the weekend. But anyway, we watched Aladdin together [with my brothers] and I expect the two boys happily spent the rest of the night playing GTA4 whilst we were out. And we weren't out all that long, I spoke to Foxy and was re-amazed by how ridiculously tall Tom is. Charlie and Charlie's Sarah were seen, and Meg has become a blonde. I also saw Griffin sober, it was very amazing. Then guitar hero began and we ran away home.
Saturday we got up late... Simon was sick so I didn't need to take him to work and I did take Nat to his committment... but apparently it was cancelled for the long weekend. I also took James to the train station, he renegaded too. Oh, and we made pancakes for breakfast to use up some more of that ice-cream. So yes, instead of the wonderfully quiet afternoon alone playing oblivion that I had had planned, the three boys mainly went in search of prostitutes/strippers to kill and I made a cake of awesome. Without cake mix. Yes, I know I win at life. It was a glace cherry cake and I dyed it green. When it finished cooking it looked like the green was trying to explode out of the cake and attempt world domination, So I covered it in a type of sugar in semi-liquid form that was posing as icing. I dyed that yellow. And then I covered the entire thing in randomly coloured sprinkles and a blue smiley face. James responded to this work of art by cutting out the eyes and mouth into and evil grin. Sigh, it tasted good though. Not that warm cake ever tastes bad.
"Dinner" was had at Nic's where there were people such as [In order of... non-order] a Nic, a Tim, Zebe, Iggi, Annie, Angelo and... those little people Nic was babysitting. A Kate apparently appeared at about 1 am too but we'd left by then. I was starting to get tired and didn't want to drive half asleep... but yes, One Hundred Girls is a great movie, all should watch it. Also, I'm terrible at Warlords and Scumbags and dinner consisting of alcoholic chocolate, pringles, cold chips and random bits of roast are not good for digestion. Sigh. Tasted good however.
Sunday consisted of more breakfast in the form of pancakes [a new and mildly improved batch], I can't even remember lunch... maybe I had a piece of cake?... GTA4, sudoku, the purchasing of Cinderella/Cinderella II, the collecting and eating of McDonald's for dinner, the watching of Cinderella and the getting pissed of at at Nat due to the fact that at 9pm he told me that he didn't in fact need to be taken to the train station on Monday morning and we could have gone back to James' that night instead occurred. Grrrrr.
Monday morning was too early.
Had an early lunch with James in the city at Cafe Andiamo then met up with Nicole at midday [ish, i wasn't that late] for some shopping. I spent too much money. Lord of the Fries is indeed a master of fries and much discussion occurred into the early hours of Tuesday morning. We started going to bed at 1am and ended up in bed at 3am. I was also 5 minutes late to work due to another discussion when I got up on Tuesday morning... heheh. Also, it was ridiculously busy. (><)
Hmmm... after work on Tuesday I went to an RMIT cocktail party with Nicole, James and Naomi, fun though fairly quiet. It didn't help that I was exhausted, it was a reasonably early night. James and I watched a little family guy... I hadn't seen any in a while. I worked again today [and I will again tomorrow and on Friday] and now I don't have a huge amount to do. It's grand... I might go watch Cinderella II now.

Happy 200th Post
I dedicate today as the day of doing nothing. though technically i already have done something, that is, handing in my very naked-man-orientated folio [only one penis, amazingly] and doing my grocery shopping. it weighed a tonne. ick. groceries are also costing me twice as much as they ever used to due to the whole trying to eat meat/protein thing. i don't stick to it enough to call it a diet but i am on a vague kind of eating plan if i haven't mentioned that. it's meant to be 5 days normal, 1 day only protein, and 1 day 'eat as many calories as you like to confuse the hell out of your body'. i like that day, except i never really end up having it due to meals that follow that vein scattered throughout the week. i'm not allowed rice though, i like rice... :( when i stick to it for a week [for the second(?) time] i think i will have much rice on my free day. and bread.
but anyway, that is all pretty much entirely irrelevant. today is my day of nothing because a) i only have one assignment to do. b) it's a sunny, happy kind of day with chirrup-y birds outside my window. i could go outside - but then i'd notice how cold it is and the illusion would be ruined. either way i refuse to let work occur today. c) i am feeling ridiculously lazy and hate building models anyway. d) ...erm, there are much more exciting things to do... such as sorting out the mess i've made of my desk this semester. tidying is actually a job i enjoy, cleaning not really [though it is satisfying] but tidying things is fun. so long as you don't leave it so late that it's like picking up after a hurricane.
so, on friday it was finbar's 'going away' party. it's in apostrophes as technically he's only moved from his room to the living room. for those of you who have not met finbar, namely zebe as emily most definitely has, he's a room-mate of nic's. i beat him at pasta poker last night, nice guy. anyway, it was red themed due to the time he played centurian and threw up red everywhere. sigh, finbar, sigh. i went from my last class [ended at midday, hoorah!] to have lunch with james at swinburne and then we went on to Nic's to visit. we ended up decorating and making his house look muchly awesome. so much red crepe paper. i covered the entire side of their bench in paper and wrote many inspirational - cough - things upon it. such as dirty poems [remember the dave limerick?] and monty python quotes. and pretty pictures of smiley eggplants. red was also seen in the form of dangly squares from the roof, an entirely covered front door and pizza boxes glued upon the wall, also covered in red. that idea wasn't mine, i've forgotten her name but that girl did it... she also stick-taped balloons all around the roof. wonder how long these 'helium' balloons will last? there was also a silhouette of a pole-dancer since the lights were made red [i love cellophane]. logically therefore, it was a red-light district.
much fun was had, the night/afternoon also included the three of us adventuring to dan murphy's and then having dim sims for dinner. i, unfortunately, had to leave at 8 to get home in time for dad to take me to my other home. i had work saturday morning [god knows why] and nat had hockey in that funny brunswick place. thinking about it, i only really have one home, just three bedrooms. one bedroom at home, one here in clayton and one in glenferrie [james']. i'll call the latter my room too due to the fact i sleep there just as often as i do at home, plus i have my own drawer... heheh.
so then there was work, and a re-arranging of drawers due to my bed/set of drawer things having finally arrived. and then the playstation x much. the playstation x much also occured on sunday morning, in my pajamas from about 9 til 12. and then grandma was visited [her birthday], i forgot to eat lunch and then came back up to melbourne to visit james... then dinner, pirates 2 and pasta poker. i.e. poker played with pasta, not vice versa. this was with nic, finbar, jeff [other room-mate] and james. i won the second round. and then much befuddlement as we taught finbar and jeff ERS. :D
i think that's pretty much my diary entry for the weekend, i'm sure it was a riviting read. i always seem to get more comments on the shorter posts for some reason... :P
