well the last few days have been terribly exciting. i actually have no idea what i did on friday - so i'm sure it was full of a lot of truly significant events. worked on the strawberry puzzle probably... tis much fun

yesterday was rather busy though, i drove mum and dad to maffra [took up the entire morning]. mum bought a new car and i got 2 hours of driving. dad's new toy - a gps that tells you the roads - told me to go on a 'local traffic only', dirt road. it was really rather silly. on the plus side i got to test the anti-brake mc-things in dad's car. yay for slamming feet suddenly down on brakes. dad told me to :D

10 minutes after walking in the door a james appeared, we had lunch in midvalley and did not much for a little while. i was annoyed because we saw cool mr happy toys in what's new, wish i'd seen them before christmas. i want one for me, but it would have been a good present for james too :(

and then he left :( and i did house-cleaning [fun fun] for an hour and then went to work for 5. a severe lack of james on msn followed and i did some more of the puzzle. plus made my current background.

today was also exciting. i got up, went to work, discovered fairy bombs [premixed absinthe - 4 for $18 at liquor land for those interested], and came home to more jobs and puzzling. i've also sorted out my music and have much room on my computer again.

can't wait to see everyone tomorrow too :D

well catching up with kim was much fun. i have very little kahlua left now though... sigh. i'll have to buy alcomahol sometime soon i expect. i didn't do much else aside from work until christmas eve though, aside from some last minute shopping on saturday... heheh. i was broke [literally] after that. :P

but yes, christmas eve was spent at james' house, after going on a treasure hunt anyway. we needed to find four things beginning with 'p'. bet no one can guess them all. :D

it was a great day though. i was there fairly early, james was at my house at 10 am. mum and dad bought him a set of three alcomahol books which we looked through together. and james gave me a mango. terrible person that he is :P there were gold class-equivalent tickets for hoyts beneath though. i got him a nice chain :)

we helped pull leaves off plants for the salad, then sat around eating prawns and biscuits with cheese. brie cheese = a confused me. it was very nice, though either james or one of his parents was absent at any one time, silly people looking for berries...

it was nice though, people went for naps in the afternoon and james and i went for metho [hadn't stocked up since james last bought it all...] and ice-cream. great combination that. then we came back and watch more samurai champloo and then dinner and dessert. i approved. x much. i think i actually enjoyed it more than time spent with my family. his parents bought me a cute red wallet too. it has a buckle *cheesy grin*

i've also flogged off with a scary looking strawberry puzzle. if i manage to finish it his mum asked me to leave it and let them mount it. i laugh.

i went to a family friend's house after and didn't get home til a little past midnight. i was very tired...

christmas day was also nice, my brothers got their ps3 and have barely left it since. i got books, a bracelet and jewellery box, a bag, shoes and an external hard-drive [i wanted the red one :( ]. exciting i know. the bracelet [a pandora one] was a very nice surprise. i also got 4 nice white square plates from my cousin. we had lunch with grandma and my uncle and then spent the night up at melbourne. i got to catch up with shane and rachel :). plus other cousins/relatives of course. milly is a silly.

boxing day we all went out to lunch for dad's and my aunt's birthday. they were ridiculously understaffed and it took over an hour and a half, but it did taste nice and it was a beautiful day. then i spent that night [last night] at james'. much fun. we watched club dread. such a silly movie. and matrix and animatrix this morning. then swimming and work. work was rather boring. and i've found i'm working on new years day. yay for public holiday pay! :P

well... kevin's visit was fun. we ended up just sitting and talking for several hours. very entertaining, that :)

em's party was pretty fun too, though i was in rather a strange mood for some of it. most people don't really see me in any of these moods, they tend to occur late at night when i'm tired. as much as i would have enjoyed playing with fire i would probably have accidently burnt myself - i was pretty out of it. i'm not entirely sure how james puts up with me sometimes. :P
em bought me two cute placemats though, i approve. random and awesome x much. they're made by the same company that makes hello kitty. heheh :) yay for thailand and all that is cute and cheap.

right now though i'm in a great mood. i have been pretty much all day, despite working. i wasn't for about half an hour due to a particular bitchy customer. but i couldn't help laughing at her, and it did make me feel better. she bought 3 small chips for her kids, and when i handed them to her she shook them a little bit and [whilst looking very disdainful, or a bogan equivalent - sneering maybe. and yes i know i shouldn't make fun of the poor bogans, but it is such fun] asked me to top them up. which i did. she then picked them up and shook them all again, until all the chips ended up squished in the bottom. i explained to her they were packed by weight and we were recently warned to stop over-packing them [true] - i was very polite even though she was getting annoying... so she bitched about me as she walked off then told her kids that it was my fault they only had half-boxes of chips. sigh. so they got upset and came up to me [she was looking rather proud of herself by this stage] and jimi told me to take them back and pack some more as i usually would. so i did. the idiot ended up with the same amount of chips. sigh.

but yes. now i'm happy and feel like dancing. with a severe lack of people to dance with. i shall go join the court party some time soon i think... tis something to do and kim shall be there :)

well the last week has been terribly exciting indeed...
i've figured out that, even though he's been working, by tomorrow i'll have seen james every day for a week. technically anyway. i saw him saturday night and sunday morning, monday night and tuesday, wednesday morning [he left ridiculously early] and i'll see him tonight and tomorrow morning. i laugh. he also bought me flowers :D

hmm... since i last posted i've been to two parties [i approve of free drinks], worked twice, got my enter [very happy], been shopping in melbourne and saw hitman [i recommend it :) ] annnnd.... no, i think that's it. kevin's coming over to visit today too. we shall watch many bad movies and anime. he's bringing evangelion [sp?].

so yes, i'm happy. though i'm not entirely sure where i'm staying tonight. i've arranged to stay with iggi because the vline site told me the longwarry trains wouldn't cooperate with me getting to work tomorrow morning... but i must have hit a wrong button somewhere along the line [like sunday maybe] because i double-checked and it turns out i can catch it from there. but i'll figure it out :)

i should also wrap the present i bought em i suspect. and maybe make/find a card. i expect she'd appreciate that... i also have 3 presents left to buy. sigh.

i forgot to mention this earlier but [drum roll please] nathaniel is taller than me. sigh. by a whole half a centimetre. i still beat simon though :D

now that that important piece of news is out of the way... i've recently changed my layout [as you've noticed i'm sure :P] but there's still the occasional glitch - such as the text in the chatterbox becoming transparent. god knows what causes that. so if that happens for you it isn't meant to, and i'm trying to fix it. it's intermittent though, so it makes it a bit difficult. i'm also liable to become tired of tigers and change. or just make small changes to the background. i won't change the actual layout though, i'm too lazy to fiddle with the placement of things again.

blogger is also trying to convince me i should get ads. i'm considering it, more because i'm curious about how much you earn. you only get checks once you've reached over US$100 though - so that's $115. i suspect that would take me over a year lol. but oh well, i might add one for a few weeks when i get round to it. i can always delete it again.

hmm and tomorrow i'm off to melbourne, i'm driving mum and dad to go see priscilla. i, on the other hand, get to wander around the city by myself for a while. mum's giving me money to spend at minotaur, [as a christmas present] which i suspect will be quite difficult for me. so many fun things to buy! i'll have to be careful that i don't go over. and then to two parties that night. tis really rather a pity i'm working the next day, but it's only for 4 hours. so all is good :)

i've been incredibly bored lately. annie's was fun [fiiiiiire...], james' was fun and the kitten [how do i spell her name...?] is adorable. i would quite happily steal her if i could. i did most of a photomosaic puzzle yesterday and today i've decorated the house [i like, no love, christmas], made an omelette [yes, i can cook] and went down the street in search of presents. i've also discovered that i have next to no money in the bank. sigh.

in other news, nina is 18. i'm visiting her tonight :D and i get to see james :D :D

in more other news - i've been rereading the anne of green gables series [i told you i've been bored] and thought everyone would appreciate this passage. tis from the fifth in the series -anne's house of dreams:

"When [Leslie and Anne's] work was done and Gilbert was out of the way, they gave themselves over to shameless orgies of lovemaking and ecstasies of adoration, such as that in which Owen Ford surprised them."

in context that is a very innocent sentence. it just goes to show how language has changed since it was published in 1934. [they're talking about cuddling and talking baby talk to anne's new baby] unfortunately we don't seem to have the sixth and last in the series. :(
aaaah well. i'm sure i'll survive. they're interesting because of the way they're written more than for the storyline. they skim over a year in a couple of chapters sometimes.

Sunday

we arrived. terribly exciting stuff that. i didn't drink, swim or get up to anything exciting. just sat on the beach and/or around the site. i was really tired so went to bed reasonably early, we all did really. oh and there was hole digging by alistair and beach cricket. that was fun. drop twister really doesn't work on soft sand though. poor nic ended up doing the splits... heheh.

Monday

sat at whisky bay instead. muchly nice weather and a lack of swimming. i like sitting. i dedicated it my lazy day. i think every day bar yesterday was lazy though... the few of us at whisky [me, james, tim, chris, nicole, alistair] joined everyone else for lunch at squeaky afterwards. apparently i'm a mouse killer.
i went for a walk by myself [nearly everyone disappeared when i went to have a shower] which was nice, and found nic and adelaide and did much talking. iggi became convinced that i was a mirage. something about the blue dress i was wearing i think. i slept through dinner and ate raw 2 minute noodles instead. i decided not to drink because i thought that would probably be a bad idea on no proper food... so i couldn't play 'i never'. that was disappointing. so i went to bed. exciting night that. apparently alistair is funny drunk. also; we were visited by a wombat; the gazebo snapped and i was up at god knows what time with james attempting to save it... sigh. i didn't sleep because the wind was so loud.

Tuesday

i'm a little worried about putting things on the right days... at some stage [i think it was this day] iggi, aimee, james and nic and i improved on alistair's hole. it was much fun. we gave it a wall, moat and a spire in the middle. a thing of awesome. it was used for a bonfire by people that night... also, i went swimming. the water was bloody cold. i believe i stayed in about 15 minutes. maybe. it was really good though.
spoons as a drinking game. the shot looked foul.
that night, iggi, annie james and i relocated to the cave to talk about politics and religion. standard drinking topics really... that was nice, i enjoyed myself. i won't elaborate on what happened after as i'm pretty sure everyone knows. alistair asked when i got back... fluke? quite possibly... after that i got to be entertained by a very drunk zebe [don't ask her questions] and the whole talon fiasco. sigh.

Wednesday

hmm... i'm honestly unsure what i did this day. i think i went for a run in the water with tim and james at 8am. a few of the days kinda blend together due to lack of sleep and general laziness. talon went home and two of aimee's friends, bronwyn and greg arrived, plus a john later on. i had dinner brought to me in bed, though i didn't really notice at the time. i got up eventually though and had cold stir fry. oh and i flew a very cool kite, as did james. for the first time. heheh. hmm but yes, john was entertaining, a group of us went and sat and listened to him telling stories on one of the platforms by the beach. it was the first night i had anything to drink too. much fun. again a lack of sleep but oh well. i was having afternoon naps after a while. i'm pretty sure this was also the day james and i went to the cafe for lunch. [possibly tuesday] the foccacias were really good. mmmm nyum...

Thursday

james and i went exploring the rocks. that was much fun. here's where i bitch about that group that passed us though. sigh. that was really rather annoying. x much. i don't believe a great deal happened that night, just sitting around and other such stuff. very relaxing. i also made my own dinner. rice = nyum. nicole and annie went home too. silly people. but i did get left with two of nicole's drinks [thanks] so i won't complain about that part of it. i'm pretty sure i played ERS and warlords and scumbags while tispy. fun that.

Friday

aaargh blur. too much sand and sleep... alistair left, i played cards and sat on the beach... more swimming too. as a group this time, very cold but very fun. james dunked me. i was attempted to be taught hacky sack [sp?] but my coordination sucks and i wandered off to do things. ended up falling asleep. again. but james was an awesome and went and bought us foccacias. did i mention they were really good? that night there was a shot-glass chess game between james and kate using icypole syrup. i missed the actual game but james was more hyper than i've ever seen him. was really rather funny. it was a nice night, just sitting around talking/drinking.

Saturday

we played twister together, that was nice. greg also left that morning. i saw a snake! i now know it was a baby brown snake... and i didn't exactly avoid it. my bad. but yes, i went climbing rocks with iggi, nic and james, though i cheated and went around some. i managed to fall down black mud due to my detour, not much fun. and i didn't go right round the corner because i'm not that good. i sat and watched seagulls instead :) the snake was on the way back.
there were only 11 of us left and we went to go up mt oberon [mostly] together. only five of us did in the end, myself, james, aimee, iggi and zebe. i couldn't breathe at one stage, that wasn't fun... but once we reached the top it was beautiful. x infinity. we watched the sun set. cold - but amazing. i also had an interesting discussion with aimee on the way down :)
and then a few of us went and sat on the beach. that was nice too.

and then there is today. i am sooooo sore. i blame exercise. tis evil. though a benefit is i've proved how unfit i am, and therefore am unlikely to be dragged up anymore hills any time in the near future. :P

As Mr Chocolate observed all this from Wallan, he was overcome with a powerful desire to eat a small dinosaur covered in BBQ sauce, He had to settle for a double-whopper with cheese, and 4 episodes of ancient hit sitcom ‘Becker’. From this point on, both Mr Chocolate and Wallan referred to themselves in the third person.
