in other news it's day three of the horrible time of study. [technically day four but i was late starting :P] so far i have accomplished:
- a passage analysis
- checkpoints
- many [5] chemistry posters ~ the carbon-oxygen cycle is oh so exciting
- a chemisty exam
- checkpoints x more
- worked
- laughed at our new tv
- laughed at the current disagreement between said tv and antenna
and [most importantly]
- broken my expert minesweeper record. twice. i'm sitting on 139 seconds at the moment :)
that doesn't really seem like a lot... but today was mostly productive, could be better
shall try again tomorrow :)

Friday night was much fun, friday day was also entertaining but mainly due to the high levels of sleep and laziness. but yes, i had a great time at the val, though i would have liked a photo with chris and john. ahh well. heheh john had a red bowtie. it was very cute *laughs* :P
the food was nice, the speeches were entertaining [life is a bowl of fruit ~ i especially liked the bit about the grapefruits helping to preserve your bananas. and jeremy's life at school being more of a pomegranate. I didn't think Shiv could top it but she did a really good job too :) ], i took/had taken many many photos, got a really nice certificate and a named glass, hugged mr campbell [someone started the pato army/super-campbell chant], danced for a little... mmm basically it. it was all rather surreal to be honest, it won't kick in that i've graduated for a little while. there's many a photo up on facebook though and i plan on adding mine tonight.
i stayed the night at james' [also fun, of course] and we slept in. i like sleeping in. then we went up to collac, picking up tim on the way. it was sam's 17th today so we stayed there last night since it's so far away. alayne [sp?], ange and simon all stayed too. i had a great time, i did quite a bit of talking with alayne, we played spotlight [i won one round, tim walked within a metre of me and i ended up sneaking back to sit with everyone who was caught :P ], drank many nyummy mocktails and played truth or truth. i also got eaten by mozzies but oh well. oh and we went swimming. it was bloody freeeeezing. well, cold... there wasn't actually any ice :P the food was muchly approvable too... especially desert - melted white and milk chocolate with many yum things to dip in it... :D
more people appeared the next day too and it was also lots of fun, james kept trying to hit tim's balls with his own... sigh, james sigh. and i'm talking about pool here guys, he kept hitting them off the table
oh and i got home and there was a huge LCD tv in our family room. it was mildly disturbing.
but yes, now i'm rather tired, shall sleep well tonight i expect :P

wednesday was the last day of classes, i believe that is muchly awesome. tuesday i had my last chemistry and maths classes too. in maths we got our teacher's life story [rather sad] and in chemistry we got to eat not one but two cakes. it was mole [6.02 x 10^23] day so we had mole cake :) one from steeny and one from naz. it was muchly yum. we also had a picnic/party on the oval with the year 11s
wednesday i had japanese and vis com [last lit class was monday] and we did nothing and japanese bar looking at funny japanese game shows via youtube. In vis com we had to bring something 'interesting' - i bought hachan - but jeff and i were the only two who really bothered. i grabbed hachan off my windowsill that morning. my last ever class was a free (^^) and we had pizza and softdrink, then signing dresses/shirts by the year 11s at lunch, our last chapel [we sang a whole 6 songs!] with a very nice speech from a rather emotional reverend boyd and time capsules and more signing.
my time capsule was rather entertaining. it had a tooth [i lost it that day... my bad], my year 7 diary, two "letters" [consisting of 'hello'] from my brothers, some chrissy cards, a piece of paper with random messages, a story i wrote in grade 6, some woven friendship bands and - my personal favourite - two floppy discs. i only was just able to check them now as this is my first time home since then. i've put on some funny pictures and things, icons, BILLY [when asked: annie is a fart, gabrielle is the dunny cleaner of sheeba and my james is a dick head... sorry james], a photo of a group of us, a letter from myself, some manipulated photos [of igi, dan, james and john] and - here's the awesome part - my billy transcript for october/november. it's 138 pages long. i thought it was pretty amazing. shall have to read through it all....
after school we went to alistair's [closer to the common room than the gym carpark] then down the street, 15 of us had dinner at la porchetta which was really nice. we hung around because we had the year 12 social to go to, and we had to bring a plate so five of us split 15 boxes of maccas cookies. yes, yes we are awesome. the social was pretty fun though i didn't feel all that great for some of it, i gradually lost clothes too. first my boots, jacket, stockings... but yes. james tied a balloon to me and wrote 'brie is here' on it so he wouldn't lose me... he then proceeded to attach a string [they were weighed down to the ground around the room] of seven or so balloons to it... then another, then another. i had 20 balloons following me from room to room. sigh. it was fun though, i got very attached [not a deliberate pun] to my balloons. when i got bored and left i brought them with me... to the park where james and i sat around for an hour or so. we saw a few people [like luke v and nina and ben] while we were there too.
then back to alistair's and we all [myself, james, tim, chris, zeb, nic, igi... alistair was in bed] watched 28 days later. was rather good, i was glad when it finished and i could go to be though. i got a reasonable [5 hours] of sleep.
and today was muck-up day. nic and i wrote 'chicken shnitzel' in various places and i put 'i lost the game' in big letters on a building. was much fun. i also changed arrows and wrote 'wrong way go back' in the carpark. igi and zeb stopped the cars for me. :) there was toilet paper everywhere, heheh. oh and we glad wrapped sophie and maddy together to a pole, i even drew them a label on the ground. reece too :) and james got me... not to a pole though... and not my legs. hmm then we presented things to teachers, mr canty was rather touched, we got him a signed, first edition of a judith wright poetry collection, he really admired her and met her a few times. it also ran an hour late and was very boring. so no real recess. then we cleaned up [took barely any time] and went down to the "carnival". it was a collection of giant kid's games. jenga was fun, i didn't really try any others though as they looked boring. maybe giant snakes and ladders might have been good. and free sausages :D mm but then everyone got bored... we were stuck in the gym for so long... so everyone drifted home and i got a lift back with lauren. home = bubble bath.
i'm also brown [it's freaking me out] because mum convinced me to get a spray tan for the val... it was on a voucher thing we have so i didn't actually pay. it's not a huge difference on my back or arms or anything... just when you compare it to the line i have lol... i think i prefer being white but i expect it will look nice with my dress - the val is tomorrow *cheers* ~ bubbye now :)

5 more classes and i'm finished school. tis all rather exciting, though i will miss our lunchtimes together :(
but yes, my last ever class is a free [i find this entertaining] and on wednesday we're having our last chapel, time capsules returned and our social, we're also going out to la porchetta for dinner. shall be grand. and rather hectic. from wednesday to saturday i spend one night at home. sigh. muck up day has a fluro theme [which i'm playing along with due to the disgustingly fluro range of clothes available in mc-sluts right now], though i refuse to wear it to the social as well. icky. i'm wearing a solid fluro pink tshirt, a denim skirt and fluro purple tights [i admit i already owned said tights]. oh and those awesome plastic bands everyone used to love, they're fluro :)
hmmm that's all i can be bothered with. bubbye all (^^)

well-dressed drunks are funny. women in pretty dresses and high-heels screaming abuse are funny... chicken smeared all over windows is semi-funny when i don't have to clean it up. it was moe cup today, and my work [being 500 or so metres away from the racecourse] was pretty much packed. it was all rather exhausting, though i was on drive-thru rather than out front, so i didn't actually have to personally deal with the drunks... just laugh at them from out back. the police were called at one stage too i think... a fight broke out. silly, silly drunks. but anyways, it was incredibly busy and everything aches :(
i should sleep or something but i'm too awake. mm i need something else to entertain myself with. bubbye all

i can't escape from the phone box, silly bright night, it makes no sense to me :( i've given up... it does have a walkthrough button, but i hate those things. i'd much rather put up this site's games but he doesn't allow that. tis a pity, i love the rpg grow. :)
in other news: my last sac was today. thank god. and one more week of classes. *cheers* and the val is in just over a week. and the social. and muck-up day. shall be grand indeed.
and i don't really feel like typing anything that makes sense. so be warned, the ramble starts here. zone out at will. my topic? positrons. the silliest things ever. i mean, honestly, how can an electron be positive? and why the hell would they try to confuse us poor students now, this close to exams? we've gone through all our science classes innocently assuming electrons were always negative and then [in unit 4, last area of study] they have to introduce the concept of a 'positron'. i mean... it has a kinda cool name [say positive electron ten times fast] but it is rather pointless. [yes i'm aware that i usually like pointless] especially as we don't have to know anything other than that it exists [for chemistry anyway], it's basically just filler for the multiple choice questions. is the symbol X a proton, electron, alpha particle or a positron? what about 'or all of the above?' why couldn't they have just used that tired and tried method? it makes much more sense than scaring students, not as fun on the examiner's behalf perhaps... but definitely nicer. chemistry examiners need to be as nice as the japanese oral ones [the frenchies went to sale for a french oral - connotations much?], they need to nod and smile and make more encouraging comments. i would approve, and everyone knows my approval is necessary when it comes to the entire VCE system, it's me that's decided that japanese should be ridiculously marked up. i tried to make it so that french was marked the same - except down - but they [read: minions] pointed out this would be unfair. i pointed out i didn't care, they pointed out i get quite a lot of actually french frenchies at my school each year... and should play it safe.
playing it safe is also necessary sometimes, gravity is the best protection guys, and girls. pretty much guys with girls. or girls with guys, just to promote the whole equality thing, even though everyone knows it's a myth :P "men were born free, women are more expensive". i believe you all know the equation regarding girls equalling evil as well, more proof that we're superior, or at least more interesting. it always seems to be the evil people that have the most fun, providing they remember it as evil-doers do tend to break the law quite a lot and so are probably constantly intoxicated/stoned/both and hence suffer from memory loss.
not really a fan of memory loss, i seem to forget quite a few things. 'tis the reason my mum calls me 'goldy' [double meaning guys!] due to my hair colour [when i was younger] and my goldfish memory span. silly, silly mum. nearly as silly as my dad who bought james a present for no apparent reason. a mr happy book - awesome, no? we only have mr impossible, an interesting character in his own right but generally a forgotten one. poor mr impossible, we should all wear black bands around our arms, like all those football players do. it's really getting rather ridiculous, at any one time there's an entire team wearing the things... it's different if your pet dies... but when your entire team wears them because your pet dies... that's just stupid. they don't really mean anything anymore - though i hope the dying pet thing is an exaggeration, animals dying isn't very nice. i assumed there were horses dying everywhere because of the virus... but apparently not. they just get better two weeks later. but of course it affects the melbourne cup, which in turn affects the council's revenue! shock! horror! gasp! money makes people funny in the head.
that is all.

9 more school days left. i'd rather it was 8 but mum won't let me stay home tomorrow. she seems to think i'll get more work done at school than i will at home. *cough* bullshit *cough*. i have two classes tomorrow, and i know nothing will really happen in either of them. i may learn the conventions for cross-sections in vis com...? maybe. because that's something that's oh so difficult to catch up on. i'm annoyed anyway, i hate waste of time days. especially when i think about how much more i could be doing on my own and how little i'll get done on the weekend. sigh.
in other news my folio is handed in and my japanese oral exam over. it was ick. x much. i didn't understand them quite a few times and had to keep asking for what they were saying to be repeated. or i couldn't remember words and so couldn't answer questions properly. it was very frustrating. i can block it out now though lol. though the examiners were very nice. the non-native speaker was grinning the entire time, it was rather reassuring. i'm pretty happy with my folio though, hope i do well.
i did lousy and all practise exams i've got back so far. methods was too depressing to actually finish marking and find out what i got... chemistry was surprisingly good considering the amount i couldn't remember. 52% [the average], i was expecting 30%. literature was good and japanese, a 3 hour exam which we were given 2 hours to do, was okay. grrraaaargh.
i want to sleep again. i'm in my pajamas and sitting on my bed already but i have to fill in my seas application. sigh. beds are silly. mum's declared that i should be getting a double bed of them for christmas so when i'm away next year and dad's snoring she'll have somewhere to sleep. silly mum. at least i'll be able to take it the year after that.

grrrraaargh. my top smells like guy's deodorant. and the person i want to talk to is busy. and i'm tired. and i want to go to bed. and i can't because i have an exam tomorrow and need to study. i've either been too busy or completely beyond caring all holidays. probably because i came to think of it as such a joke during the countless, waste of time classes. i'm tossing up whether to go to bed now. sigh, i really shouldn't. maybe i'll go back on msn... hmmm, he's run away. my favourite thing in the world right now? cars. well, a car - james' car. everyone should own a car so that they can come visit me when i ask at nearly 9:00 at night. i'd muchly approve. mind you, i don't think i'd be asking many other people to come visit me at this time usually...
and today was relatively unexciting. especially compared with yesterday. there was a scare with grandma... the worst possible kind pretty much. but it turns out she's okay, we'll chalk it up to a somewhat paranoid and easily excited doctor and her age. but yes, i ramble. i drove down to warragul and back [only stalled once. *laughs at nathaniel - i.e. brother who likes to count and make me nervous*] to take my brother to an appointment and my picture to the printers. shall be A2. i can't wait lol.
apart from that i've worked on my folio and had lunch. very exciting meal that. it had spanish onion in it. i found it in the fridge. also terribly exciting stuff that - spanish onion. annnnd... my folio isn't quite done but my brain is mush and i can't do anymore tonight. did i mention james is visiting? he's going to think i'm silly when he reads this [yes i know you're laughing at me] but i'm excited anyway :)

mrow... bored and lonely (><)
james came and visited for a little while earlier but after he dropped me home again i decided to lie on my bed in the sun for awhile and accidently fell asleep. my bad. i just woke up and really can't be bothered doing anything. i was feeling so motivated this morning too...
the weekend was fun though, i really didn't do anything useful on wednesday and thursday bar working, but on friday james appeared and we went to the midvalley-a-matorium. he needed a present for sam and ange and i needed more clothes. i bought a blue rhino to go with my awesome red lion too. and then back to his place and my new ghibli movie. we had to get up before 6 on saturday which really wasn't very nice. we had to pick up tim from warragul at 6:45 or so and then headed off to colac. we had breakfast on the way. a rather long drive, we got there at exactly 10 and went to the way of safe to by glitter. silly glitter bombs, i found some of the stuff on my stomach this morning. at least i think i don't have any on my scalp anymore...
but yes, it was fun. and i went swimming in a public pool for the first time in ages. apart from school swimming the last time would have been sometime in year 7 i think. i met elaine who was muchly nice, bubbly and talkative. hope i get to see her again, i saw ange and sam again too. :)
and sunday we left at 1 or so and i didn't get home until 5:30ish. that was rather long, we did stop for lunch in geelong somewhere within that, and the traffic was a bit ick [there was next to none on the way up] and i had to wait around at traf trainstation to be picked up for a while. but yes, a rather long day. more fun than today though... i should go work on my folio
